Pīntú Puzzel is my entrepreneurial endeavour in ecological sustainable puzzles

The case

I never sit still, actually I'm always on the lookout to learn something new. Pīntú Puzzel is a coming together of creative freedom, concept, branding & marketing and last but not least care for the environment.

It started with the COVID pandemic. All of a sudden everyone had more time to spend at home. My son loves puzzling so I kind of checked if I could join him by buying a puzzle too. But to my disappointment I only could find boring puzzles with flowers, landscapes and artwork of dead painters. Agonising for a creative at heart, so that dusty image had to change! The idea was born to set up a webshop where you only could find aesthetically beautiful puzzles and while we were at it, the products should be ecologically sustainable too. No plastic, but FSC certified (or recycled) paper. So I went searching for locally fabricated puzzles because I don't believe in dropshipping from China.

In order to set up a webshop I had to learn new things such as Elementor for Wordpress, configuring WooCommerce and adding payment options to the shop. Furthermore I've enhanced the SEO for higher ranking in Google, set up a business bank account, registered the shop at he chamber of commerce to make it all legit, added social channels and did my own product photography.

That eventually resulted in the brand Pīntú Puzzel

• A webshop selling curated aesthetically beautiful puzzles
• Targeting self-conscious young people
• Ecological sustainable (production, packaging, shipment)
  

The creative freedom is something I really like since I'm not working for a client. It's been quite a ride but I enjoyed every single bit of it (and still do). Next chapter will be producing my own puzzle. Stay tuned!
